Today we are having only the 11 AM Worship Service to provide better accommodations for our special guests Jake, Amber, and Walker Moran. Jake and Amber also have two adult sons, Blake and Chandler. The Moran family lives in Dahlonega, Ga. and attend Free Chapel Church in Gainesville, Ga.

We’ve invited the Morans to be our special guests to share some of their story relating to their youngest son, Walker, who is 9 years old, has autism and is a non-speaker. Walker is a very special young man that God has chosen to work in and through in an amazing spiritual way. Walker has been able to communicate through a computer and since developing that skill, has revealed some amazing spiritual insight that God has given him.

All youth grades 6th – 12th is invited to join us as we shed light on the struggles of spiritual darkness on this “NIGHT OF LIGHT”, Sunday, September 20th, 5 – 8 PM! Rhett Ausmus will be sharing his testimony, and Global Youth Ministries will be leading worship.

We will begin at 5:00 PM outside with Food & Games, followed by worship & testimony at 6:00 PM in the church sanctuary.

We will be ministering to the families of the Grace & Joy House by providing child care (includes feeding the kids and providing games & fun) for all the kids.

Invite family & friends to join us for a special time of recognizing all first responders - EMS, firefighters, law enforcement, and emergency room workers.

Here are a few things to remember for First Responders Sunday:

1. Invite anyone that works in EMS, firefighters, law enforcement, and emergency room workers.
2. Bring food such as chili, soup, finger food, etc. and desserts (the church will also have hamburgers & hotdogs available) by 10 AM.
3. Bring your own bag, lawn, or camping chairs.
4. Park in lower field level parking or at the white building north of the church —follow parking attendants when you arrive. We will try to leave the main parking lot for our guests.

Here is the schedule for the day:

1. 7:30 – 10:00 AM: Set-up & Preparation
2. 10:00 -10:15 AM: Food needs to be on tables
3. 10:30 AM: Welcome, prayer and begin eating
4. 11:00 AM: Songs by the Temple Praise Band, Recognitions, Introduction of Speaker

Youth & Children, 12th Grade & Under, are invited to Freeman Springs Farm (3895 Freeman Springs Road, Rocky Face, GA) on Saturday, October 17th.

We will leave the church at 9 AM and return to the church by 12 PM.

4th – 5th Grades will need a chaperone (older friend or sibling) to accompany them
3rd Grade and Under will need a parent/guardian to accompany them.

The cost per person is $10 for admission—includes hay ride, hay maze, corn maze, corn pit, train ride and games.
Note: Inflatables cost $5.00 per person and is optional
