Week of Prayer for International Missionaries - Day 5

Hardship has followed Anahita, Lord. You know this and how difficult it is for so many refugees like her, fleeing their countries.

Thank you for missionaries Nawid and Freshta Aziz, who speak Anahita’s language and have lived in the country where many of the refugees in their European city are from. Thank you for the friendship Freshta and Anahita have formed and for the women’s ministry Freshta hosts. You are using the Azizes to shine the light of the gospel among Central Asian refugees.

Please give them extra wisdom as they minister to people who have experienced significant trauma. We ask You to continue Your work through them and in Anahita’s life. Bring her to a point of surrender and salvation. Thank you that Anahita’s husband has already decided to follow Christ. Lead others to faith through the ministries in this city, including camps that will be held in summer.

Week of Prayer for International Missionaries - Day 4

Thank You for missionaries and Chilean believers who are taking the gospel from the city of Santiago to more than 40 hard-to-reach islands off the coast. We praise You for sending Landon and Megan Williams and for their work to mobilize churches in Santiago to reach the nations.

We praise You for Chilean pastors and missionaries who train others to leave the city for the sake of the gospel, no matter the cost. Thank You for volunteers from the U.S. who are partnering with the Williamses in Chile to see Your name made known in South America and beyond.

Lead more churches to have the vision for reaching remote areas with the gospel. One island church prays now for a pastor. Send the man who would faithfully lead them.

We pray for the Williams family as they train and lead more believers to fulfill the Great Commission. We know this vision comes from Your Word.

Week of Prayer for International Missionaries - Day 3

New believers are calling out Your name in West Africa, and we bring You the glory for this response to the gospel.

Thank You for missionary Katee Sheppard, who has spent decades among the lost of West Africa. She has shared her excitement in seeing church members learn Bible stories, then effectively teach them to others. Five believers in one church are now trained to share the gospel and have stepped into leadership roles.

We pray, as Katee has asked, for the members of this evangelism team as they continue to train others in sharing Bible stories. We ask that new Christians would grow in their faith and find consistent discipleship.

We join our hearts with the believer in the church who said, “There’s work to do here.” Please, Lord, bring more missionaries and West African ministry partners to this region so more lives will be transformed.
